yep t3d has the answer, I'll expand a bit.
Each pink ping pong ball was an ecto. We was able to stack ectos up to 250, then eventually traded those for armbraces, armbraces for pandas/mpb's etc, then that eventually for Gaile's frog. Then he actually died because a scammer got his login and stole the frog, and the guy gave up his (life) account cuz he was pissed.
